Laser welding is one of the fastest ways to join thin metal assemblies when aesthetics and distortion control matter. This article summarizes how we use laser welding alongside spinning, stamping, and machining in our Shanghai plant.
When laser welding fits
The process excels on stainless steel reflectors, burner housings, sensor brackets, and other parts where a narrow heat-affected zone is required. It also works well for joining dissimilar thicknesses that would be awkward for conventional TIG in high-volume production.
Our workflow
- Fixtures locate parts so seam paths are repeatable batch to batch.
- Parameters are stored per material/thickness combination for quick setup on repeat jobs.
- Weld quality is verified visually and, when required, with sample destructive or leak testing.
Integrated manufacturing
Because laser welding sits next to our forming and CNC departments, customers can send a single drawing for a welded assembly instead of coordinating multiple vendors. Upload your joint design or send a sample through our contact page for a process review.
